Detailsview1 fired event itemupdating Horny sluts that wanna message with no signup or webcam
However, when i set it to false, and generate rows dynamically using Template Field - Item Updating stops working (but Item Deleting works! This is very strange, here's the code (this is user control which contains only asp:details View, so place it on any page to test it) Do the following test: compile and run, see if update and delete buttons work (throw exceptions). Then, change auto Generate Rows to false and uncomment line 83. When i put Generate Templates() method on Init - update event works OK.I have tried setting Enable View State as required for details View throughout my codebehind file instead but this doesn't have any effect - either I always see the details View or the Update fails. When I set Auto Generate Rows to true, everything works fine.
A Details View Page Event Args object is passed to the event handler, which allows you to determine the index of the page selected by the user and to indicate that the paging operation should be canceled.
I dont know how to wrie an event_handler ,specifically, for...
Details View Item Updating event does not fire I have a Details View control to which I am binding the results of a Linq-to-XML query.
So I might hit update and get the insert mode, or vice versa.
When in either of these modes, I have to press cancel twice to return to readonly mode.....pretty frustrating. I have the same problem which I have been fighting with all day and can't work out.
The standard Command Field column control has been used in Details View to provide Edit - Update/Cancel buttons and that all worked fine with Item Updating getting called and processed correctly. Firing an event handler on an button which is generated dynamically in an user control present in update panel I have created an user control which is placed in update panel. the point here whne the row is selected in gridview the detailsview works fine.
